Severed White-Socked Limb

The moment it was taken out and placed on the glass table, it became a fully independent object. The white sock clung tightly to the severed limb, every curve beneath the fabric sharply defined.

The sole pressed flat against the glass, toes slightly parted, arch raised high, the calf line extending straight to the sock cuff. From another angle, it lay sideways, heel firmly planted on the surface, the tightened flesh at the severed end subtly visible through the fabric.
